How to replace the MAP Sensor on Cadillac SRX?

For the replacement of the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor, you need first to turn the ignition OFF and remove the fuel injector sight shield. Backing off the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor with both the electrical connector and the bolt & bracket. Check the seal of MAP sender to wear out or damage and replace it if needed. Next, install the MAP sensor following the Fastener Notice and then install the bracket and bolt; tighten the bracket bolt to 12 N.m (106 lb in). Connect the MAP sensor (the electrical connector) and finally, re-install the fuel injector sight shield.
