How to replace the front seat cushion pad and cover on Cadillac SRX?

You need to disable the SIR System through driver seat and passenger seat procedures before starting to replace front seat cushion cover and pad. Begin the process by taking the seat cushion from its assembly position then flipping it with the seam facing upward onto a clean protected surface. To access the seat cushion components begin by removing J channels from the seat cushion frame and afterward get the seat cushion pad out and the seat cushion cover free. The installation process requires users to first set the seat cushion pad onto its frame then add the seat cushion cover on top of the pad. The pad should be placed flat on the cover without any ridges or bumps appearing before the hook and loop fasteners are secured completely to achieve proper alignment. To reinstall the seat cushion place the seat cushion assembly upside down and fasten the seat cushion cover J channels to the frame followed by attaching the seat cushion back into the seat assembly. Finish the SIR activation process by enabling it for the driver seat alongside the passenger seat.
