The first step to replace the front seat cushion requires disabling the sir system by performing the same procedures used for the driver's seat plus the passenger seat. Push the seat to its maximum forward position while removing nuts which fasten the seat cushion to the seat adjuster component. Remove the power seat switches through lifting the front part of the seat cushion upward while keeping an eye on the proper routing of electrical wires to prevent damage. After detaching the wiring harness fastener and retainers that hold the wiring harness to the seat cushion frame bottom move the cushion forward to remove it from the seat adjuster assembly.
