From there you must remove the seat while also disconnecting the motor electrical connectors. First detached the retaining bolt that secures the vertical seat adjuster motor before clearing the motor up and unlocking it from slot to extract it. The new vertical seat adjuster motor should be placed into slot on the adjuster before rotating downward to secure inside the seat adjuster. Secure the retaining bolt by torquing it to 10 N.m which is equivalent to 88 lb in. Reinstall the seat after connecting electrical wiring connections.
