How to replace the engine oil pressure switch on Chevrolet Astro?

To change the sensor or switch of the engine oil pressure, first, turn off the engine cover. Remove the engine oil pressure sensor gauge electrical connector and then use a wrench to hold the engine oil pressure gauge sensor fitting as well. Pull out the engine oil pressure gauge sensor with the Oil Pressure Switch Socket (J41712) with the attention to the position of the fitting before taking it out. Take out sensor fitting for engine oil pressure if required. When installing, if the fitting was removed, make sure to put it back and tighten to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs), to not loosen or over-tightening it one turn to align. Install the Engine Oil Pressure Gauge Sensor, while gripping the fitting with the wrench to avoid any rotations, and tighten the sensor using the Oil Pressure Switch Socket (J41712) to the tightness of 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.). Lastly, reconnect the engine oil pressure gauge sensor electrical connector and put back on the engine cover.
