Position the Exhaust Heat Shield (1, 3) on the dash panel studs following the fastener notice for correct assembly. Position the Exhaust Heat Shield (1, 3) on the dash panel studs and secure all nuts with a torque of 9 nm (80 inch lbs.). The procedure calls for reinstalling the engine shield after installation of its bolts at a torque of 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.). Finally, lower the vehicle.
