To service and repair the
Spark Plug wires, start by twisting the boot at a 1/2 turn and pull only the boot off the Spark Plug. Next, to extract the Spark Plug wire from the
Ignition Coil, do the twisting and pulling until it comes free. Note there are two manufacturers: jklmnopqrstuvwr/list of ofeci manufacturer for Spark Plug wires/ ignition coils/ coil brackets. Melco(r) and delphi(r). In terms of size, the melco(r) spark plug wire has a blue foil mark on it and is 145mm (5.70 in) in length from cable seal to cable seal while the delphi(r) spark plug wire has a white foil mark and is 110mm (4.30 in) in length from cable seal to cable seal. The melco(r) Ignition Coil is made in a square shape while the delphi(r) Ignition Coil is circular-shaped. The melco(r) Ignition Coil bracket is square, and the delphi(r) Ignition Coil bracket is round. For installation, plug in the Spark Plug wire to the Ignition Coil followed by the Spark Plug. Last, check the Spark Plug wire for correct fitting by applying a sideways pressure on the boot, ensuring correct seating and replace any loose boot.
