How to replace the front sway bar link on Chevrolet Avalanche 1500?

The vehicle needs raising and proper support to start sway bar link replacement. First drain the sway bar nut from link bolt before proceeding with sway bar link bolt removal then extract both sway bar link insulators and spacers from their positions. Grind all parts for inspecting wear and damage. Start your installation sequence by putting the sway bar link insulators with spacers into the correct position. A complete removal of the original adhesive patch must be performed before installing sway bar link bolts where the threads receive an application of Threadlocker GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) BLUE LOCTITE # 242. You should install the sway bar link bolts and then fasten each sway bar nut to a link bolt. Tighten the nut until it reaches 10 N.m (89 lb in) torque then proceed to extend it beyond the nut by 2-4 threading. Cut off support stands while reducing the suspended vehicle to the ground.
