Before changing the transmission fluid Transmission Oil Cooler on a 4l60-e/4l65-e/4l70-e automatic transmission you must remove the front grill assembly and position a drain pan underneath the vehicle. First disconnect the Transmission Oil Cooler lines from the Transmission Oil Cooler and remove its Transmission Oil Cooler bolts with push pins before extraction. Position the Transmission Oil Cooler into its placement location and secure it to the radiator brace with bolts and push pins while tightening the bolts to 12 nm (9 ft. Lbs.). Reinstall the front grill assembly after reattaching the Transmission Oil Cooler lines to the Transmission Oil Cooler.
