To remove the rear axle lower control arm, lift and support the vehicle first. Next, remove the nuts for the lower control arm retention and retaining bolt screws off followed by removing there the lower control arm. In regard to installation, start by installing the lower control arm as well as the retaining bolts, but do not tighten until the suspension has reached ride height, as per Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. After that, replace install lower control arm retaining nut and tighten retaining bolts to 120 Nm (89 ft. lbs.). Lastly, remove the rear axle support and lower the vehicle.
