How to replace the secondary hood latch on Chevrolet Blazer?

The replacement process starts by raising and sustaining the hood before removing bolts that secure the latch assembly to the hood to extract the secondary hood latch assembly. The installer must position the secondary hood latch assembly on the hood after which they should carefully read the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Regular instances between the latch assembly and hood are secured by installing the secondary hood latch bolts with a torque value of 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
