How to replace the Power Steering Reservoir on Chevrolet Blazer?

When performing hydraulic pump replacement for the vehicle start by setting it on a flat fixed location with the shaft pointed upward. A screwdriver can be inserted into the retaining clip tab while forcing the tab outward to remove the reservoir clip from the hydraulic pump assembly. You must remove the second reservoir clip before taking out the reservoir from the hydraulic pump housing. Place the O-ring seal in the trash after removing it from the reservoir neck or inside the hydraulic pump housing. To install the O-ring seal for assembly you should apply power steering fluid onto it and place it onto the reservoir neck. Attach the reservoir to the hydraulic pump assembly by properly inserting its full neck. Position the reservoir feet exactly against the hydraulic pump housing sides before installing the provided reservoir retaining clips until the hardware tabs rest inside the pump housing.
