A: To replace the Ignition Control Module; first, turn off the ignition, then disconnect the Ignition Control Module (ICM) from the 14 way connector, may the position of the wires before removing them. Next, remove the coils assemblies' screws that fasten the coil assemblies to the icm then remove the Spark Plug Wires from the coil assemblies. Then take off the coils and the icm from the bracket. For installation, connect the coils to the bracket and the Ignition Control Module to the bracket, adhering to the fastener notice in service precautions. Fit the screws to secure the ignition coils and icm and the bracket with a torque of 4.5 n.m (40 lb in). Mount the module in the top hole and then tighten the mounting screw to 2.1 n.m (19 lb in). To ensure proper installation, double-check all connections and ensure that the module is securely fastened.
