A: First service the Ignition Control Module by loosening the control module electrical connector bolt then removing the connector from the module. Detach Spark Plug Wires from the Ignition Control Module then remove the module nuts. Start by disconnecting the Ignition Control Module coil and then disconnect the engine lift bracket to Ignition Control Module bolt. Proceed to remove the Ignition Control Module/coils while placing each one on a new work surface. Begin your service by removing all Ignition Coil bolts from each coil and extracting the ignition coils out of the module before installing the Ignition Coil seals. From there remove the module from its bracket placement. Begin installation by fitting the module into its bracket while also installing the module's Ignition Coil seals. Install the ignition coils to the module following fastener notice in service precautions then tighten the Ignition Coil bolts to 4 n.m (35 lb in). First install the Ignition Control Module/coils then loosely attach the engine lift bracket through the Ignition Control Module bolt. Secure the Ignition Control Module nuts with a torque of 30 n.m (22 lb ft) before installing the engine lift bracket to Ignition Control Module bolt to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). The final step involves connecting Spark Plug Wires to the Ignition Control Module while attaching the control module electrical connector to its base and tightening the bolt to 3 n.m (27 lb in).
