How to replace the rear liftgate hinge on a convertible on Chevrolet Camaro?

Start by taking out the rear compartment lid panel for a convertible and then removing the four bolts behind it. After fixing the adjustment bumper bolt , continue with the remaining three bolts to extract the hinges from their position. First install the hinges by carefully following Service Precautions instructions about Fasteners. Put the hinges into their placed positions and fasten with a torque setting of 25 N.m (18 lb ft). Install the adjustment bumper bolt first and tighten it to 25 N.m before putting in the three other bolts which need to be tightened to 50 N.m. Refit the rear compartment lid panel at the end of the process.
