The first step for power seat switch replacement involves removing both the front bucket seat and afterward removing the recliner trim cover from the seat. The wire harness needs disconnecting from the power seat switch and you must remove screws that secure the power seat switch to the recliner trim cover before extracting the switch. You should attach the power seat switch to the recliner trim cover after which you should secure it with screws tightened to 1.7 N.m (15 lb in). After reconnecting the power seat switch wire harness you should reinstall the recliner trim cover on the bucket seat by fastening screws to 1.7 N.m (15 lb in). Reestablish the bucket seat but first replace the recliner trim cover and its switch unit.
