How to Replace the Front Lumbar Seat Switch on Chevrolet Camaro?

The first step in replacing the lumbar switch for the front bucket seat requires removing both the front bucket seat and the recliner trim cover screws attached to it. You must detach the wire harness from the lumbar seat switch after removing the hinge arm trim cover from the bucket seat. Light pressure on the lumbar switch enables using a flat-bladed tool to disassemble the lock tabs of the hinge arm trim cover allowing you to extract the lumbar seat switch from the recliner trim cover. You should slide the lumbar seat switch into the hinge arm trim cover opening before pressing it down to complete the installation and activate the lock tabs. After attaching the wire harness to the lumbar seat switch you can reinstall the recliner trim cover onto the bucket seat while securing its screws to 1.7 N.m (15 lb in). Lastly, install the bucket seat.
