2001 Chevrolet Camaro Seat Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to replace the power seat switch on 2001 Chevrolet Camaro?
A: The power seat switch replacement process starts with the removal of the front bucket seat and subsequent stripping of the recliner trim cover attached to it. First disconnect the wire harness from the power seat switch after which you should remove the screws that hold the power seat switch to the recliner trim cover to extract the switch. Install the power seat switch to recliner trim cover by securing it with screws which require torque adjustment to 1.7 N.m (15 lb in). Secure the wires of the power seat switch to its connector before placing the recliner trim cover back onto the bucket seat and screw it into place using torques at 1.7 N.m (15 lb in). The last step of the project involves replacing the bucket seat.
