Begin the air temperature actuator replacement process by dismantling the I/P compartment and cutting the actuator's electrical connector wires. The process begins with unscrewing the two fasteners which secure the actuator before removing the air temperature actuator. Position the air temperature actuator before installing its screws then tighten each one to 2 N.m (18 lb in). Reinstall the I/P compartment while reconnecting the air temperature actuator electrical connector.
