How to replace the A/C Idler Pulley on Chevrolet Colorado?

The Drive Belt removal process begins with the elimination of the Drive Belt. Pull out the liner from the left wheelhouse area. Begin by unplugging the compressor's a/c suction hose and then disconnect the a/c discharge hose. Start by disconnecting the Drive Belt before removing the bolts that hold the Drive Belt idler pulley to the engine to detach the pulley from its position. Locate the replacement Drive Belt idler pulley on the engine before installing its bolt system while sequentially tightening them to 50 nm (37 lb ft). The a/c suction hose should be reconnected first followed by the a/c discharge hose which attaches to the compressor. After completing the installation sequence you should reinstall both the left wheelhouse liner and the Drive Belt.
