The needed tools for front drive axle seal and bearing replacement include slide hammer (J 2619-01), universal drive handle 3/4 inch - 10 (J 8092), extension housing seal installer (J 21426), bushing and bearing remover 2-3 inch (J 29369-2) and differential bearing adjuster needle bearing installer - left (J 45232). Commence the task by taking out the wheel drive shaft while also uninstalling the swaybar link from the lower Control Arm. To remove the axle seal start with the bushing and bearing remover (J 29369-2) coupled with a slide hammer (J 2619-01). The same tools are needed to extract the axle bearing. Position the axle bearing into the intermediate housing before installing it with differential bearing adjuster (J 45232) alongside universal drive handle (J 8092). Position the axle seal by using the extension housing seal installer (J 21426) along with other required installation tools. Place back the wheel drive shaft plus the swaybar link to its position on the lower Control Arm. After completing the installation check and ensure the vehicle is at its lower position.
