How to replace the air conditioning drive belt on Chevrolet Corvette?

You must start by removing both the accessory Drive Belt and then elevating your vehicle before proceeding with air conditioning Drive Belt replacement. Start by using a wrench to rotate the a/c belt tensioner clockwise which will decrease tension before taking off the a/c belt from its pulleys. Then slowly let out the tension on the tensioner. Clean all pulley belt surfaces while inspecting them after taking the wrench off the tensioner. When installing the a/c belt you should first position it over the crankshaft balancer before engaging the wrench to restore tension on the a/c belt tensioner through clockwise rotation. Safely insert the a/c belt across the idler pulley then around the a/c compressor pulley before you let the tensioner unwind naturally while removing the wrench. Review the a/c belt condition for accurate alignment while lowering the vehicle down you will install the accessory Drive Belt.
