Chevrolet Equinox Drain Plug Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to replace the radiator drain plug on Chevrolet Equinox?
A: Installation of the surge tank cap before draining prevents full system collapse but small coolant amounts will drain anyway. Start the installation by removing the drain plug from the radiator end tank followed by using a flat-bladed tool to gently separate the plug from its mounting position in the end tank. Install the new drain plug into the end tank drain hole by using the same flat-bladed tool for tightening.
