If you answered yes to drain partially the cooling system in order to replace the
Radiator surge tank inlet hose/pipe. For safety purposes, do not remove the Radiator Cap or surge tank cap, while the engine is hot, such that there might be scalds and steam coming out due to pressurizing. Reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamps using j 38185 (Hose Clamp Pliers) and then remove surge tank inlet hose from the surge section and radia tor. It is recommended to lubricate the diameters of the hoses with clean coolant before installation. Mount the surge tank inlet hose onto the Radiator then directly on the surge tank moving the hose clamp with j 38185 (Hose Clamp Pliers). Finally, fill the cooling system.
