Chevrolet Express 2500 Fuel Pressure Sensor Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to replace the fuel pressure sensor on Chevrolet Express 2500?
A: Before Fuel Tank pressure sensor replacement one must disconnect the negative Battery Cable while following battery disconnect caution. The fuel pressure relief procedure needs to be executed to empty fuel pressure from the system. The first step involves raising the vehicle and removing the Fuel Tank followed by Fuel Pressure Sensor extraction. Proceed with installation by placing the Fuel Pressure Sensor first and then reinstall the Fuel Tank. The Fuel Tank must be refilled followed by successful securement of the fuel filler cap before reinstating the negative Battery Cable. After turning the ignition on for two seconds you should turn it off for ten seconds before turning it on for leak detection.
