Q: How to replace the auxiliary blower motor on Chevrolet Express 3500?
A: Begin replacing the auxiliary blower motor by removing the auxiliary HVAC module then disconnecting the electrical connectors from the motor unit. Disassemble the auxiliary blower motor by taking out the screws holding it. Separate the retaining clip from its position on the fan cage before removing the fan cage from the auxiliary blower motor. Attach fan cage to the auxiliary blower motor and fasten it with the retaining clip for installation. After positioning the auxiliary blower motor in place you should screw it in place with the screws and tighten them to 5 N.m (44 lb in). Afterward plug the electrical connections back into the auxiliary blower motor and place the auxiliary HVAC module back into position.
