How to replace the canister purge valves on Chevrolet Express 3500?

Start by removing the air cleaner assembly before you can replace the evap canister purge valve. Leaving the evaporative emission (EVAP) pipe fastener collars outwards is necessary to unplug the evap pipe from the evap purge solenoid. Start by detaching the electrical connector from the evap purge solenoid and removing its mounting bolt. The evap purge solenoid should be extracted from the engine together with the insulator. Start by positioning the insulator on the evap canister purge valve and mount the valve to the engine. Screw in the evap canister purge valve mount bolt until you achieve 10.5 n.m (93 lb in) of torque. Use the evap pipe to connect the evap canister purge valve then attach the electrical connector. Reinstall the air cleaner assembly after completion.
