    In order to replace the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve, one has to remove the air cleaner assembly. Push then the evaporative emission (EVAP) pipe quick connect fitting retainer into and disengage the evap pipe from the evap purge solenoid. Next, release the evap purge solenoid electrical connector and unbolt the evap purge solenoid mount bolt. Then, remove the evap purge solenoid as well as the insulator from the engine. For installation, mount the insulator on the evap canister purge valve and install the valve to the engine. Mount bolt for evap canister purge valve and tighten to 10.5 n.m (93 lb in). After that, connect the evap pipe to the evap canister purge valve and attach the electrical connector. Finally, replace the air cleaner assembly.
