How to service the Throttle Position Sensor (TP sensor) on Chevrolet K3500?

Service of the Throttle Position Sensor (TP sensor) starts with the removal of the Throttle Body assembly and tp sensor mounting bolt extraction while keeping liquids clear of both parts to prevent damage. Then you must remove the tp sensor and o-ring seal from inside the Throttle Body assembly. Be sure to block the throttle valve before you place the o-ring seal onto the tp sensor and put the tp sensor onto the Throttle Body. Fasten the tp sensor through mounting bolts that require a 2.0 n.m (18 lb in) torque setting before reattaching the Throttle Body assembly to the upper Intake Manifold.
