How to replace the blower motor resistor on Chevrolet Lumina?

Start replacing the blower motor resistor by taking out the right panel insulator. To begin work disconnect the electrical cable from the blower motor resistor then take out the screws retaining it. Install the new blower motor resistor by following the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions, then affix the component with new bolts. Fasten the blower motor resistor with its bolts then tighten them to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Put back the electrical cable to the blower motor resistor and restore the right side panel insulation.
