The installation process begins with mounting the Evaporator support strap before installing the water core filter together with its retainers. Install the Evaporator by screwing the Evaporator core bolts to 1.5 n.m (13 lb in torque), then mount the Evaporator core cover including its bolts which should also be tightened to 1.5 n.m (13 lb in torque). Reinstall the Heater Core while proceeding to fill the cooling system followed by reconnecting the a/c Evaporator lines at the Evaporator. Before completion the technician must evacuate the system and recharge it while inspecting for leaks then reattaching both the air cleaner and duct assembly.
