Before beginning service on the Flex Plate remove all torque converter covers then extract the flywheel to torque converter bolt(s). Follow installation procedure by placing the flywheel to torque converter bolt(s) then securing them at 63 Nm (47 ft. lbs.). The service requires users to reinstall the torque converter cover(s) followed by lowering the vehicle.
