How to replace the Center Console on Chevrolet Metro?

The first step when replacing a console is to remove the gearshift control lever upper boot from the console when using manual transmission. Detach the console by removing six screws from the vehicle. Security comes from inserting and screwing the console into place using all 6 screws. Attach the gearshift control lever upper boot to its position on the console only if the vehicle has a manual transaxle.
