How to Replace a Rear Seat Cushion Pad and Seat Cushion Pad on Chevrolet Metro?

Beginning the replacement process of rear seat back cushion cover and pad (split) requires removing the rear seat back first. Proceed by disassembling both plastic retaining clips from the lower outboard corners of the rear seat back before extracting the lock knob from the seat back (2 or 7). Unlock the bottom plastic seal of the seat back then unfold the rear seat back cover while removing the carpet. The installation process requires you to place the rear seat back cover together with the carpet on the seat back before pressing the plastic seal along the bottom edge. You must install the lock knob to seat back (2 or 7) with clockwise screwing motion before placing the 2 plastic retaining clips into the lower outboard corners of the backrest. At the last step, fit the rear seat back back into place.
