Before installation of the new Oil Filter you must carefully follow the fastener notice in service precautions. Reinstall the Drain Plug bolt for the oil pan while torquing it to 35 nm (26 ft. Lbs.). Add oil until your vehicle reaches the indicated marks on the dipstick while observing that the oil capacity reaches 3.7 liters (3.9 quarts) when you change both the oil and filter but reduces to 3.5 liters (3.7 quarts) for an oil-only replacement.
