How to service the Fuel Pressure Sensor on Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

A proper servicing of the fuel tank pressure sensor requires users to first shut off the Ignition Switch followed by trunk liner removal. Service the fuel sender access panel starts with removing its retaining nuts before you can remove the panel itself. The disconnected electrical connector should be followed by removing the sensor from its position on the modular fuel sender assembly. New fuel tank pressure sensor installation requires positioning it onto the modular fuel sender and securing the electrical connection. Reinstall and fasten the fuel sender access panel with retaining nuts which need to be torqued to 10 n.m (8 lb ft). Finally, reinstall the trunk liner.
