How to replace the Idle Control Valve on Chevrolet Prizm?

A repair of the Idle Control Valve starts by removing the Throttle Body and removing its 4 fasteners securing the valve. The Idle Control Valve needs to be removed from the Throttle Body before removing the Idle Control Valve gasket remnants. To install the new Idle Control Valve gasket replace it on the Throttle Body while connecting the Idle Control Valve. Secure the 4 fasteners to 18.5 n.m (13 lb ft) level according to fastener notice specifications. Finally, reinstall the Throttle Body.
