  A: Unplug the windshield wiper motor connector then take out the four retaining bolts that hold the wiper motor in place on the bulkhead. Plug the claw of the windshield wiper transmitter onto the bulkhead area. Regular maintenance on the wiper motor crank arm needs to stay connected to the wiper motor due to its optimized position for park return of the wiper arms. Slide the wiper transmission unit off its place on the wiper motor arm and take out the wiper motor from the automobile. To set up the wiper system fit the wiper transmission to the motor crank arm by following Service Precautions fastener rules. Install the windshield wiper motor to the bulkhead and fasten it using four bolts before tightening them to 5.5 N.m (49 lb in). Connect the wire leads to their appropriate locations on the wiper motor.
