How to replace the Brake Light Switch on Chevrolet S10?

Beginning with stop lamp switch replacement includes removing the Pushrod retainer from brake pedal pin, then removing the switch with Pushrod from brake pedal pin before disconnecting the electrical connector. Connect the electrical connector to the stop lamp switch first and place the Pushrod onto the brake pedal pin before inserting the stop lamp switch. Afterward attach the stop lamp switch and Pushrod onto the brake pedal pin then put the Pushrod retainer back onto the brake pedal pin to lock everything in place.
