In order to service the Cruise Control Module, before starting, disconnect the battery negative cable and afterwards disconnect cruise control cable and the electrical connector. The 3 nuts that have to be removed in order to separate the Cruise Control Module from the mounting bracket studs should now be removed, followed by the leaving behind of the module. Next, remove the 3 screws that cause the bracket to mount to the cowl panel. To install, mount the mounting bracket to the cowl panel, by using the 3 screws and tightening the screws. Then, reinstall the Cruise Control Module in the vehicle and fasten with the 3 nuts, tighten 9.0 n.m, (6.6 lb ft). Reconnect the electrical connector and the cruise control cable and finally reconnecting battery negative cable. Finally, verify the system's operation to ensure all the components are working fine.
