The installer should modify the Hood Latch position to create a secure hold between the hood and front hood bumpers when the hood is closed. When operating on the hood perform the following sequence: first secure the Hood Latch bolts at 9 n.m (80 lb in) then adjust the front hood bumpers until the hood surface matches the fenders.
