First, lift the vehicle to take off the tire and wheel, to change the rear Steering Knuckle. Next, take out the Wheel Hub and bearing, then the upper and the lower
Ball Joints. Use the universal steering linkage puller having j 24319-b code, after unscrewing the outer tie rod retaining nut and bracket to disconnect the outer tie rod from the Steering Knuckle. Loosen the park brake cable retaining bolt from the Steering Knuckle and replace it with a new one. Get the Steering Knuckle and remove it from the vehicle. To fix, place the new Steering Knuckle on the vehicle, fix the ubi a and lower Ball Joint. Apply the retaining bolt of the park brake cable to the Steering Knuckle driving it to 65 nm (48 ft. Lbs.). Then, install the Wheel Hub and bearing, and the outer tie rod retaining nut, and tighten it to 55 nm (40 Ft. Lbs). Fasten the outer tie rod retaining bracket and tighten it to 65 nm (48 ft. Lbs.). Finally, you can re-install the tire and wheel, lower the car, and do a four-wheel alignment.
