Before replacing the Wiper Arm you need to position the
Wiper Blade on the windshield using a marker or tape to mark the spot. Then detach the washer hose. To replace the Wiper Arm you need to remove the nut cover and then take off the nut with the Wiper Arm from the
Drive Shaft using a battery terminal puller tool. Scrub the Drive Shaft knurls with a wire brush to clean them. Insert the Wiper Arm until the blade touches the mark you placed earlier on the windshield. Then attach the Wiper Arm to the Drive Shaft by hand and secure it with the nut at 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Attach the nut cover and reconnect the washer hose while clearing the windshield mark or masking tape and testing the wiper system.
