How to replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor on Chevrolet SSR?

You should start by opening the hood to reach the air intake duct where you need to remove the breather pipe before continuing. The Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor electrical connector needs to be disconnected next before loosening the duct clamps and removing the duct. Proceed by removing the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor along with its associated clamp that is attached to the air cleaner assembly. The installation procedure requires placing the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor with clamp back into the air cleaner assembly followed by installing the air intake duct and tightening all its clamps to 4 n.m (35 lb in) per fastener notice instructions. First reconnect the electrical connector while putting back the breather pipe to the air intake duct then close the hood.
