How to replace the Motor and Transmission Mount on Chevrolet SSR?

Start by lifting your vehicle and placing a suitable jack beneath the transmission to hold it in place before changing the transmission mount. Proceed by taking off the nuts which hold the transmission mount to the transmission support and extracting the transmission support from the vehicle. First remove the transmission mount bolts numbered 1 and 2 from the vehicle before removing the transmission mount. Begin new installation by placing the transmission mount into position following service precautions fastener notice instructions. Install bolts (1, 2) on the transmission mount to the transmission while applying torque to 65 nm (48 ft. Lbs.). After replacing the transmission support reinstall it onto the vehicle before taking out the transmission jack. Use fasteners to connect the transmission mount to the transmission support before lowering the vehicle. Tighten these fasteners to 46 nm (35 ft. Lbs.).
