  A: Engine oil and Oil Filter replacement starts by opening the hood to remove the fill cap before advancing to the next steps. Begin by raising the vehicle and placing an oil drain pan beneath the Oil Pan Drain Plug. Remove the Drain Plug until all engine oil drains out while maintaining a flat position of the Oil Pan for proper drainage. Wipe any excess oil from the Drain Plug hole before installing the Drain Plug and plug. Remove the Oil Filter after checking the filter seal is entirely separated from the engine block and wipe the Oil Filter mounting. You need clean engine oil to lubricate the Oil Filter seal before installing the filter which requires 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.) torque. You need to place the oil Drain Plug correctly next then tighten it to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.) before lowering the vehicle to add the correct engine oil grade in the right amount. Put the clean cloth on the oil level indicator then reinstall it. Measure the oil level again after removing the indicator then add oil if required before finally closing the hood.
