How to replace the Electronic Suspension Control Module on Chevrolet Suburban 1500?

The procedure for replacing the Electronic Suspension Control Module in Tahoe, Yukon and Escalade vehicles starts by removing right side interior trim panel then disconnecting electrical connectors from the module. Slide the module out of the bracket by removing the screw followed by taking it fully from the vehicle. Install the new module by placing it into the bracket followed by screw tightening at 1.6 Nm (14 inch lbs.) while paying attention to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Attached the electrical connectors to their corresponding ports on the module. The procedure for recalibrating a replaced module includes connecting a scan tool to the Data Link Connector (DLC) while keeping the ignition ON with the engine OFF then selecting the SPECIAL FUNCTIONS for RTD module programming based on display instructions. Follow the displayed instructions on the scan tool under SPECIAL FUNCTIONS to execute the ALC trimset after the programming concludes. Reinstall the right side interior trim panel as the last step.
