    Q: How to replace the left engine mount on Chevrolet Suburban 2500?
    A: One must elevate the vehicle to replace its left engine mount when working on a 2WD car through the front wheelhouse opening while doing so through the front tires and wheels on a 4WD vehicle. Start with removing the left front car tire along with the wheel followed by releasing the push pin retainers attached to the wheelhouse inner panel and removing the panel itself. The bolts for the engine mount heat shield must be accessed through the wheelhouse opening before removing the heat shield. The installation begins with unbolting the engine mount-to-engine mount bracket and proceeding to remove the oil pan skid plate and its bolts when necessary. Move on to remove the engine shield bolts while also taking off the shield. The engine should be lifted only to a height that achieves separation of the engine mount from the engine mount bracket. Lift the engine with an appropriate jack before taking out the engine mount together with its bracket. Start by removing first the engine mount to engine bolts and the engine mount itself then proceed with removing the engine mount bracket through bolts and finally the bracket piece. The first step for installation is to place the engine mount bracket onto the frame while leaving through bolts loose. Place the engine mount to its proper location on the engine before installing the loose engine mount-to-engine bolts while tightening the engine mount bracket through bolts to 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.) and engine mount-to-engine bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.). After installing the engine shield bolts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.), both reduce the engine. You should install the oil pan skid plate along with its bolts before applying torque at 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.). The next step involves putting on the engine mount heat shield and fastening the engine mount-to-engine mount brackets by tightening them to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.). After installing the wheelhouse inner panel users must secure push pin retainers before putting the left front wheel and tire back on and lowering their vehicle.
