Begin left Engine Mount replacement by removing both the Engine Mount heat shield if installed then disassembling Engine Mount-to-Engine Mount bracket bolts. The front wheelhouse opening can be accessed when elevating a 2wd vehicle but the front tires and wheels need to be removed on a 4wd vehicle before proceeding. The installation starts by removing the left front tire together with its wheel. Then the wheelhouse inner panel push pin retainers and the panel follow before removal. Release the engine shield bolts then remove both the engine shield while abstaining from lifting or supporting the engine through its crankshaft balancer or Oil Pan. The support of the engine requires adjustable screw type jack stands that will allow you to remove the Engine Mount bolts. Before removing the 4wd vehicle's left Engine Mount drivers must eliminate the front propeller shaft. Install the new mount by placing it to the engine before torquing the Engine Mount bolts to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). Return the engine to its original height when you remove both the jack stands along with the front propeller shaft. Secure the engine shield in position followed by bolting its install while tightening its bolts to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.). The procedure includes mounting the engine shield with 20 nm torque then moving to lower the vehicle and set the Engine Mount-to-Engine Mount bracket bolts to 65 nm before adding the left front tire and wheel and wheelhouse inner panel push pin retainers and finally lowering the vehicle.

Place the engine mount bracket onto the frame, ensuring to remove all traces of the original adhesive patch.

Only lift the engine enough to separate the engine mount from the engine mount bracket using a suitable jack.

Install the engine mount bracket, ensuring to adhere to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Finally, lower the vehicle.

Ensure all traces of the original adhesive patch are removed, clean the threads of the bolts with denatured alcohol or equivalent, and allow them to dry.

First, raise the vehicle and remove the tire and wheel, followed by the wheelhouse panel.

Reinstall the engine shield and tighten its bolts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.), then lower the engine.

It is crucial not to raise or support the engine by the crankshaft balancer or oil pan; instead, use adjustable (screw type) jack stands to support the engine.

Raise the vehicle and remove the tire and wheel, followed by the wheelhouse panel.

Start by installing the engine mount bracket.

Take note of the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Remove the wheelhouse panel, exhaust manifold, engine protection shield, and engine mount heat shield if equipped.

Remove the engine mount-to-engine bolts and the engine mount itself, followed by the engine mount bracket through bolts and the bracket.

Tighten them to 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.).

Reinstall the exhaust manifold (4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L Engines) or (8.1L Engine), the inner wheelhouse panel, the tire and wheel, and the engine protection shield if equipped.

Reinstall the wheelhouse inner panel, the wheelhouse inner panel push pin retainers, the left front tire and wheel, and lower the vehicle.

Reinstall the wheelhouse panel, the tire and wheel, and lower the vehicle.

Reinstall the engine shield and bolts, tightening them to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.), then lower the engine.

Begin by placing the engine mount bracket in position.
