  A: Before you begin with Oil Pan replacement make sure to lower the engine because the crankshaft balancer might cause damage when raised. The first task should be Differential removal in vehicles with 4wd systems followed by Starter motor separation. The process starts by removing all skid plate bolts followed by taking out the skid plate from the Oil Pan. Two wheel drive (2WD) owners need to start by unscrewing the crossbar bolt followed by removing the crossbar. The crossbar bolts and crossbar need removal when operating on 4wd models. Lbs.) torque before attaching the engine harness clip along with connecting the oil level sensor electrical connector. Put the oil level indicator in place before filling the engine with oil. Crossbar installation for 4wd vehicles requires a bolt torque of 100 nm (74 ft. Lbs.) while 2wd vehicles get the same bolt torque. Install the Oil Pan skid plate by tightening its bolts to 20 nm torque specification (15 ft. Lbs.) and put on the Starter motor and front Differential if installed.
