How to replace the fan clutch on Chevrolet Suburban 2500?

Before commencing the replacement of the Fan Clutch you should remove the upper Fan Shroud. Start by fitting the j 41240 Fan Clutch remover and installer (J 41240) onto the Fan Clutch before removing the Fan Blade that should be placed face down on a workbench. Unlock the Fan Clutch bolts which secure the Fan Blade at the back before you can disconnect the Fan Clutch from the Fan Blade assembly. Install the Fan Clutch bolts first before attaching the Fan Clutch to the Fan Blade by strictly implementing the instructions in the fastener notice section of cautions and notices. Secure the Fan Clutch bolts at 23 nm after fitting the Fan Blade. Place the j 41240 Fan Clutch remover and installer (J 41240) on the Fan Clutch before applying torque of 56 nm (41 ft. Lbs.) on the Fan Clutch nut. The last step involves positioning the upper Fan Shroud back into its original place.
